Title information instead of file name displayed..?

So I updated the firmware to the latest one and all of a sudden my files are showing up named as their “Title information” instead of the file name. This is a headache really… How can I make my WD TV show the file name?

assuming they have xml’s … it’s displaying the “title” contained in the xml … which you can rem out

eg.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
Action 10764 tt0830515 Quantum of Solace continues the adventures of James Bond after Casino Royale. Betrayed by Vesper, the woman he loved, 007 fights the urge to make his latest mission personal. rename

Quantum of Solace

to

<!title!>Quantum of Solace<!/title!>

there is batch software that can do the job more quickly… i use textrep (example link below)

Sorry,

no XML. I rebuilt the media server’s DB and everything was fine for a little while before WD TV went back to showing Title Information. The media server shows file names in windows too, only WD TV insists on Title Information. This happened after upgrading the firmware.
