WD is a Piece of 5h1t, their products and the company.
This product forces you to be always online. No internet connection means no access to your files.
I do understand the need to go online for authentication and account management. Really? Always online? It should be a standard and default to also support Local Access Network file management.

Who ever came out this idea is ucking A-Hole
