I get the error “the request failed due to a fatal device hardware error” while trying to initialize the external drive from disk management…
The Harddisk is connecting and getting detected, but not showing in My computer. Pls help

Hello there,

Try to see if you can initialize the drive on a different computer, also try to use a different USB cable to see if this helps.

I have tried in different computers and also used another USB cable, still
it is not detecting in My computer.
