Hi to all. Searching on the forum I found some discussions about the theme, but there isn’t an “official” reference of them. Even the user manual, in setup and advanced features, shows a link ( http://www.wdtvlive.com/theme) that points to the homepage of the community forum. Is it possible to have a discussion with all the references of official WD themes (by now, I’m not able to find the link of the default WD theme, and I don’t know if there exist other wd themes) and user themes, with short description, download link and some printscreens? It could be helpful for everybody.
The only official theme is the one that comes preloaded in the SMP. You can find more information for themes in this forum.

Thank you Vadir for your help. Let me ask you some other questions.
- “WD TV Live Hub” themes and “WD TV Live SMP” themes are completely interchangeable?
- Is perhaps the official theme, preloaded in SMP, available somewhere for download (in order to use it as template for custom theme development)?
- Is there a dedicated editor for developing WD TV Live themes or at least a recommended xml editor optimized for WD themes?
- Why does not exist an official repository of themes, as expected when you find the reference of a link for themes ( http://www.wdtvlive.com/theme) in the manual?
I know … a lot of questions, but perhaps somebody can help me to find the useful answers
1.) Some HUB themes will function on the SMP and others will not. Mojo works for the SMP, but you cannot get the transparency effects for the .png’s to display. Alaska works 100%. Mojo Darklight can work, but you may need to do some edits - see the HUB Mojo Darklight theme thread for more information.
You are pretty much out of luck if you want a nice looking theme for the SMP. Most of the theme developers work on the HUB FW 1.06.
2.) You can find the default Mochi theme on the HUB theme forum and probably else where.
3.) I don’t think WD has released a theme editor and I don’t know of any XML editors, though there was mention of one on the HUB theme forum - first page - so you may want to check that out. You can always just d’load a theme and edit the existing XML to your hearts content. There are a few good educational posts on XML editing in the HUB theme forum.
4.) *Shrugs* would you really want to use WD themes anyway? Mochi isn’t exactly that great. It’s clear to me that WD does not care about themes otherwise they would have fixed the .png issue by now.
I suggest you read the HUB theme section to learn more about themes as there is a lot of useful information there.
