Smartware demanding username and password

I have used Smartware for several years with a My Book Live. I can use this software and access the drive without difficulty on my current computer. However, I am trying to connect a new computer to the drive, and Smartware is asking for a user name and password. Both computers run Windows 10. I have never encountered this before. What should I do?
