Permissions/Access Issue?

Not experienced this before, was wondering if anyone had any solutions.

I’m a Mac user, latest OS X version, connecting to WDMyCloud (latest firmware) over WiFi and ethernet. Connections are over smb.

Recently I’ve been having issues writing content to the drive - finder is throwing up an error code -36.

There are a number of shares, all have the same issue, but there is only one user with permissions set to full access across all.

Reading content works fine, although finder sometimes struggles loading the files structures, it times out.

Any ideas?

  1. Always use AFP with Macs, not SMB.
  2. Each share should have a user/password

Store passwords in Keychain, then you can mount shares automatically.

Works flawless here on my Mac.
