I have the Western Digital WD Green 3D NAND 240GB SSD which is advertised to run at 545mb/s read speeds but according to my benchmarks from AS SSD Benchmark and CrystalDiskMark my results were poor.
Currently I get about around 250-260MB/s read speed and about 230MB/s write speeds.
I had recently got the SSD about a day ago and cloned my old ssd to the new one using Macrium Reflect. I also believe I have got the correct SATA III Cable (Serial ATA 26AWG AWM 21149 30V 80°C). Additionally, I have TRIM enabled and AHCI enabled in my BIOS. I have also reinstalled Windows which has had no effect to my read speeds.
In short, I’m wondering why I’m not getting the advertised read speeds of 545MB/s.
Any help is much appreciated, thanks.
