No NFS: 5 months later.. still no NFS - Open letter

It’s been 5 months since the NFS feature was removed from the firmware upgrades due to “performance” issues…

In my opinion it’s past the “Wait and see” period, and to ask the hard question to WD support and say…

“Are you going to live up to your promises and fix the NFS issues”  

yes/no…   if yes then whats the date you will commit to…  not just an “in the future” but a date that you will commit to your customers to have it released by…

I kept my EX4 on the hope that WD would live up to their promise to have to fixed / released in a “timely manor” but now it’s 5 months later and I’m sick of having to live with the bugs I’m experiencing, and I can’t upgrade the firmware due to the removal of NFS.

Please tell your customers when you will have to fixed…

And for someone who uses NFS, are you unable to figure out that you can use the manual firmware upgrade feature via a browser that does not require NFS but rather an http connection? Seriously??
