Newly installed My Passport on 8.1 - setting up issue

Hi, just installed the My Passport external drive for backing up my pc files. Im using Windows 8.1.
Seemed to automatically install programs ok and computer is recognizing the device, but when trying to set up the WD Backup plan (to schedule automatic pc file backups) it ONLY shows an option to store in Dropbox (cloud service)…no other icons are showing…? Shouldnt i be able to store the files actually on the external drive?? Where do i find that option??
