I just got a new macbook air. I have a “My Passport” that I use with my time capsule. I was able to transfer all my files, applications, etc successfully. I have now used the new computer for a couple of weeks and need to start backing up the files in the new computer.
I connect the drive and I choose the disk in the time capsule preferences and it says “preparing for back up”. It has now been 3 hours and nothing else happens.
How do I get the new computer to start backing up to the Passport.
