New HD bad or is it the bay

Hey all. In my EX2 Ultra 2x6TB I am using it with RAID 1 and one of the drives went bad. I ordered a new one from Amazon and installed it. The Disk status says it is also bad. Do you think I got a bad drive or could something be wrong with the bay I put it in?
