Mybooklive Panasonic TV problems

Hi guys, I have big issues with my Panasonic TV and watching movies that are high bitrate or MKV contained. So I was wondering if,

1. Anyone has managed to get twonky to transcode on the MBLive?
2. Or is the new WD streaming service better than Twonky and does it play nicer with all the various formats of movies on my TV?

Any advice would be great! My TV is a panasonic 42 inch from 2010. Most other devices seem ok its just my Panasonic that doesn’t have a great media player…
