When i shut down my computer the hard drive stays on … how do i get it to TURN OFF / SHUT DOWN when the computer does PLEASE HELP
Some computers still provide 5V to USB when even when “Shut Down” … there could be setting in the UFEI or BIOS of your PC that controls it.
If there isn’t … then Power Down your computer after you’ve Shut it Down. That will power down everything … including the external usb hard drive.
Power Down = Switch Off at the rear power supply or wall socket.
THANKYOU SO MUCH … in reference to finding the setting ? how should i go about it … i have a PC … and maybe im just really unaware but how do i get to the UFEI or BIOS setting to change it
