what is the cable that comes with the my passport 4tb ultra called? The one comes with it is way to short. Can’t seem to find the answer online
Depends on how old your My Passport Ultra 4TB is 
I have an older My Passport Ultra 4TB and it just uses a standard USB 3.0 cable.
apparently (according the WD Store Product Details) the “Newer” My Passport Ultra 4TB uses a
USB-C Cable and they include a USB 3.0/3.1 Adapter for backwards compatibility with devices that only have a standard USB Port.
