I have many 4TB drives all with the micro USB 3.1B type cable connectors (with a normal USB at other end of cable). I see that there are cables available with a USB type C at the other end. Will I get faster data transfer speed if I use a type C cable connected to a PC with a Type C port?
WD 4TB My Passports are only USB 3.0 according to the WD Specs.
Therefore, you won’t see any faster data transfer speed using a USB type C cable.
