My Cloud is having trouble connecting to the server

I started to have this problem 5 days ago, and the stranger think is apparently plex can access my media files but I can’t thought the computer in the same room the drive is.

Are there any way to fix this or must be by WD?

Add me to the list. It infuriates me that this “NAS” cannot just be mapped via Explorer. I despise the WD Discovery app as it was constantly crashing or logging me out. Just let me map the ■■■■ drive manually.

I have also heard they are cancelling support for the drive in June this year. Is that true? If yes then doesn’t that render the drive unusable? Surely that can’t be legal?

PLEX has been an absolute nightmare for me for about 6-8 months now. I routinely have to pull the plug out of the drive to get it working again as the MyCloud app wouldn’t be responding either. Perhaps that’s a sign it’s time to retire it. I don’t think I’ll ever buy another WD NAS again.
