Hello folks,

I am having issues with my My Book World Edition II (white light) NAS. The front LEDs display patterns that are not defined in the documentation.

Specifically, solid top and bottom lights. See attached photo.

No. No it isn’t. I actually offloaded all of the data yesterday and set it back to factory settings. The reason I did this was that it would fall off the network and I wanted to start from scratch to see if it would fix.

It has not.

As I write this, I cannot access via share or webgui. SSH, which has always been rock solid, isn’t even working anymore after enabling it. I can ping it, though.

It’s disappointing. I liked the way this device works, when it worked.

The drives themselves are just fine. I just have to restart the system every 24 hours if I want to access them.

For reference, I just realized I had posted here before on the same issue. Except this time, I was able to reset to factory settings.

I believe this light pattern indicates a “unit failure”.

I am facing the same pattern of LED display but the top LED is getting on/off frequently, what is the conclusion
