I got a My Book Live this Christmas, i’ve set it up & done a back up of my laptop & its set to do auto back ups. But I can’t get it to go into standby mode (blue light). I’ve switched off my laptop and the only thing the my book is connected to is my router, so it should go to sleep, but it has had a green light on it all day, which blinks now and again. The energy saving on the my book is enabled, so I can’t understand why it isn’t going to sleep mode. I’ve emailed wd support, but no reply as yet. Can anyone help?
Proably cause something is running on the background.
