Dear WD,

Today I went to a large electronics chain store purchased a My Book Essential 4TB drive Model: WDBACW0040HBK-AESN.

It’s the size of a regular My Book Essential which means it’s not a dual drive like the Studio Edition II or Live Duo.

I’ve noticed however that this model is not listed on your website (My Book Essential on your site only goes up to 3TB).

Can I confirm that this is indeed a legitimate product released by WD?

I havent heard about it and WD haven’t post anything on their main website.

I just did a quick search looking for it. What’s the name of the store that is selling those ones.

Yes, I purchused a WDBACW0040-HBK-H1 My Book 4TB @ BestBuy, tried to register it  @ WD but was not able to.
