I currently own a my book duo. It is set up as raid 1 so the drives, 8TB, are mirrored. Is it an easy task, after purchasing a 3rd drive, to swap out a drive and put this one in? As a photographer I would like the triple redundancy. I will keep one in a fire proof safe and swap it out every month or so, depending on work. Thanks

Yes, you can swap drive in My Book Duo but RAID rebuild operation could take several hours to complete as per the storage size.
Note: RAID configurations require both drives to be the same capacity and same model. Using any other hard drive or capacity voids the warranty for your My Book Duo device.
