What type of disk is inside the My Book 6TB External USB Drive? What’s it’s speed? 7200 rpm?

We can’t confirm the internal hard drive model, data interface, rotational speed, or cache size inside the external hard drive enclosure. The internal hard drive in an external enclosure could be either SATA or native USB, depending on the external hard drive model.

I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER EXTERNAL WD DRIVE AGAIN!!!

I have DOZENS of them, mostly external! STUPID of me!!!

I will choose CAREFULLY from now on, buy INTERNAL drives, and use my own ENCLOSURES! No more ADVANCED FORMAT ■■■■ nor SMR.

SHAME ON YOU WD!!!
