Multiple instances of USB drive in network

When I look in network on Windows 7 I see the following (see screen shot). This seems to have occurred after firmware updates. Only one instance of NAS will open the others will give network error. Has anyone seen this and is there a solution.

More details - it is a 2 T cloud drive connected to network router with cable with a 1T my book attached to the USB port. The My book name is NAS which is how I used it when connected to a usb port directly to the computer. see screenshot below.

Duplicate files created after latest my cloud January firmware release

I have two my cloud 4TB drives in different buildings, that are not linked in any way, that since the January firmware release have developed an annoying problem. Both drives have 2TB my passport drives physically attached by the 4TB my cloud USB port. I stress this to ensure that it is clear that the problem is with the WD firmware update, and not with my equipment or set up (2 separate configurations both have the same problem).
