Mount WD40PURZ in an external drive case?

I purchased a WD40PURZ for upgrading a surveillance system to give it significantly more storage (troublesome neighbour entering our property).

Unfortunately I misunderstood the type of drive, and thought it would be an external drive that I could plug-and-play into the surveillance device in order to store videos that were relevant.

My question is - can I mount a WD40PURZ inside an external harddrive case and use it in this manner?

If so, which case would WD recommend for this purpose?

Please be informed that this is an internal drive that you can use inside your PC or for security camera data storage inside an NVR
