My current 4-TB HDD has failed and I want to replace it.

Can you share the effective up-to-date list of compatible 4-TB HDDs and SSDs supported by the current firmware version 1.04.17 (01/08/2018), please?

So far I had no clear response from WD Technical Support team.
They are persuading me to decomission the old device and purchase a new one :slight_smile:

Today, I got the following response from WD technical support:

My Passport Wireless series drives is not intended to be opened for the purpose of replacing the internal drive. If the case is opened, it will result in the voiding of the warranty, and we are unable to provide support for the replacement process.

As a result, we do not have a list of compatible drives for your device. Since opening the device is not recommended or supported, we have not tested alternative drives for compatibility.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
