The WD TV Mini Media Player plays RMVB’s I think. – I know from personal experience that Real Media requires a licencing fee to play this format, so most likely WD didn’t want to pay it (which would raise the cost of the device) for every model. Since RMVB is not very popular and used primarily for low-quality video’s I wouldn’t want to pay more for my drive in order to support it.
