Your post sounds more like an Idea or a Feature Request. The best place for this is in our Ideas Lab. This way someone from WD will be sure to see it. However, I would search first and make sure that there isn’t another idea similar to yours that you could add your post to and vote on.

I just recently got back to watching the Waltons – a favourite of mine many years ago. Unfortunately
many of the downloads of the Waltons are in .RMVB format. There are few if any tools out there that create
proper…AVI files from .RMVB files. So as a result I cannot use my wonderful WD TV product. I notice that one of these newer device DOES have that support. So it can’t be that difficult!!
I would really appreciate this facility.
Along with the ability to seach a file. It is really tiring doing an X16 search on a file that I might just have messed up.
