The serial number and model number on my drive have been erased by wear. So can I find it within the files on the drive, if so where?

I got here because I was searching for the same thing but for a PassPort Wireless Pro. If you go to the “Support” tab in the drive, click on “Download” under “System Reports”. In the ZIP file you will download, there should be a subfolder called “SystemLog_” followed by a long string. The first part after the first underscore up to the second underscore is the serial number of the drive.
