IPhoto library on WD my Cloud will not load on MAC photos

Hi can anybody help with this I moved my Iphoto library to my WD Cloud a while ago It use to work ok loading slow but ok when launching IPhotos. I n

How did you get it to work in the first place? The iPhoto Library usually requires a hard drive formatted HFS+ while the WD My Cloud uses EXT4.

What happens if you re-do the original process you followed to include the library?

When i moved the iPhoto library over origonally I just dragged it from finder to my cloud file, and then when launching IPhotos it asked for place of source for Library and all worked ok. but now doing the same thing with the new photos app it will not open or load the Iphoto library from source.
