Internal Server Error

I purchased the My Book Live yesteday and can honestly say Ive caused myself a huge amount of stress. At 1am last night I gave up. I can not create users and I can not create remote access. As its seem loads of other users are haiving internal server error issues.

I’ve spent hours on Google trying to find a soloution.

I would consider I have the most basic of set ups that millions of UK residents have.

BT Home Hub

Infinity

MAC laptop

You would not expect to buy a washing machine and then have to re wire the product or spend hours on-lne trying to resolve issues…

One very frustered taken for granted customer… 

After 3 full system reset its all working,

I’m having the exact same issues!!! 5 hours many restarts still no resolution. No contact with the so called help desk.

Anyone have an answer I would be most grateful before it goes in the bin !!

I know the feeling.  I’ve been struggling with mine for months.  The latest firmware upgrade does seem to have made a big difference though.  You dont actually say how far you’ve got so it’s hard to help.

Well I’ve actually got nowhere. I can see the public drive in standard windows explorer. (and can even copy and move files on and off the drive) When I run the web browser interface , I can see system and network OK but as soon as I try to make any changes to any field I get the internal communications error (different error codes) .

I cant even add a password !!

I’m kind of giving up now unless you can suggest something.

FYI I changed browsers, cleared caches, and even used a different laptop to access the stupid thing !!
