I can’t see the screen. Does WD only support smartphone or tablet, not computer, users?

The MCH could be activated with the web app in the browser, so a desktop browser would work. Please watch the installation video if you prefer not to read the manual.

Is the “Import USB” function available on the Desktop app?

USB is also available from the web app using a browser. The ‘Desktop app’ is what some would call the WD Discovery software for Windows and macOS - that functionality is distinct from the web app and is being deprecated and will no longer work as intended after June 2023.

This has been mentioned but not posted in detail with a solution on its own. It does look like WDC has decided that desktop (Win File Explorer and mac Finder) integration is not something they can keep developing and support given the many changes to the operating system (mainly macOS AFP and SMB security updates). It may be possible that WD Discovery desktop could keep running on 64 bit Windows for many more years with nearly full functionality, but don’t count on it. * CORRECTION, on seco…
