I deleted a folder in my Cloud
Can I recover it?
Please see the forum search feature, magnifying glass icon upper right, and search for “recover deleted file” or something along those lines. There are numerous past discussions on attempting data recovery of deleted content. The single bay/single drive My Cloud does not have a “trash can” or “recycle bin” option/feature. When you delete a file or folder its deleted immediately. You can attempt data recovery using a number of different methods and programs. Some of which have been discussed previously. You can also contact a third party data recovery service (or one through WD Support) and they can attempt data recovery for a (usually substantial) fee.
If you have previously backed up your My Cloud using Safepoint / Backup it may be possible to recover the file or folder if it was backed up.
