I realize the MyBook LiveDuo is End of life. I got hold of some HDD’s on ebay so I’ll manage for a few years. How can I transfer data from the NAS to a new one? (Maybe a stupid question but I’m not an IT expert…. 
)
Have you ever used drag and drop? For a large amount of data, I do it at night while my computers and other devices are not in use.
Are you getting an actual new NAS? If so, use it’s backup utility to copy everything over.
