i retrieved some files from my passport back to my pc. but, they are still on my passport and now my passport is full. how do i delete or erase some files off my passport ext. harddrive?
The same way you would on any disk. Navigate to the file(s), highlight, and hit the Delete key.
If the files are from a software backup you may need that software to cleanly remove them.

i tried that many times, that doesn’t solve my problem of my ext. hard drive being too full.
