Running out of room on my WD Passport Ultra

I want to delete files from my Passport to make more storage space. I have retrieved the files I want to delete to a flashdrive, but I can’t figure out how to delete them from My Passport Ultra. Can someone help me?

Well, generally, you browse to the files in file explorer (or finder if Mac), select them, and press the delete key.
If you have recycle bin enabled, then empty the recycle bin.
