Short story, I can’t access the web UI, so how do I initiate a factory reset (wipe my data if needed and start from scratch)?
Many WD drives have a reset button on back or bottom or somewhere on them. Use open end of paperclip and hold it in for 5 or 6 seconds and release. Better yet, find the manual for your device in WD support and find out exactly how to do a reset. I do not have your device to know for sure. Should be a non-destructive reset of system, and not touch your data.
According to your thread, the webserver (apache) is down but samba server is up. If you have SSH access, then you can login to the MBLD with SSH and restart the apache server from the command line. It’s worth it to have SSH access setup on the MBLD. No need to restart or even reset the MBLD.
