How do I configure Airport Extreme to access WD MyCloud on my iPad from outside my home?

Can someone guide me on how I should configure Airport Extreme Router so that I can access WD MyCloud on my iPad from outside the home?

Everything works just fine over wifi when I am inside the home.

Hello, you need to install the My Cloud app on your tablet and setup your remote access account. Check page 14 of the manual for the steps.

I am having the same problem and I cannot solve it by using the My Cloud app method.

Please kindly advise on what should I do next.

did you set up portforwarding on the airport? it doesn’t support upnp.

Time for WD to step up with an actual guide on this cuz I have given up. Tried every single method on these forums and nothning has worked. It cant be that hard to write this out for us and one of the most popular routers on the market
