community I wanted to ask if it is normal if my hard drive squeaks and makes noises when touched/pressed lightly. You have to mention that the hard drive is not yet connected
I own several WD Elements Portables and WD Passports … most are older models
and yes, they all squeak if you apply pressure to them, i wouldn’t be concerned though as it’s just the plastic casing making the sound.
