GSpeed studio R maximum HD

I have a Gspeed studio R with 4x 6tb hard drive , it uses thunderbolt 2 and released in 2014.
I read the spec somewhere that it support a maximum of 8tb drive.

I was wondering if this enclosure would work with 10tb HD or even higher with raid 5, has anyone tried?
