Firmware auto-updated, now my drive is trashed

My firmware auto-updated on the 24th (about a month after the warranty expired!!) and now, on the 26th I keep getting messages that the drive is below temperature, please move to a warmer location, and after rebooting the drive, getting “power supply failed” and “volume 1 is degraded”.

I can still access the volume that I have shared, but not sure if all the files are reliable. I scanned the drive using the built-in utility and it reported no errors.

I do believe this is a firmware and not a hardware issue. I am really ticked!

What specific My Cloud model do you have?
There are subforums for specific My Cloud models, if you have a multi bay version, where users more familiar with the specific model may be able to assist.

My Cloud EX2 Ultra. I did not see the subforum for that model.
