You should probably post in the dedicated OS5 subforum (https://community.wd.com/c/OS5/252) for your device if you haven’t done so already. The single bay My Cloud units (the general subject of this subforum) are not supported by OS5. Nor when this unofficial FAQ was created did the OS5 firmware exist. Many of the suggestions in this discussion may apply only to the version of Twonky used by the OS3 firmware.

I have limited internet connection and its not possible to download twonky server by WD mycloud. So I need installation file for manual install. Please help

What My Cloud model do you have and what firmware version is it running? The OS3 (v4.x and v2.x firmware) single bay My Cloud, the general subject of this subforum, includes the Twonky media server within the firmware.

My Cloud firmware includes Twonky DLNA Media Server version 7.2.9

If one has an OS5 v5.x firmware one can manually download the 3rd party apps including Twonky. See the following WD Knowledge Base article that describes how to do so for OS5 My Cloud units.

You copy the link and paste it into a new browser window. Or if you have a second generation single bay My Cloud device running OS5, click the following link that was copy and pasted from the OS5 GZA_WDMyCloudG2.json file

Just tested the link and was able to download the OS5 twonky_8.5.2-5_WDMyCloud.bin file from that link. Note this file is for the single bay/single drive second generation (P/N ends with “-10”) My Cloud running OS5.

I figured it out like after 20 minutes after I sent that email to you.

I couldn’t download that because of restricted internet connection in Iran And now I installed twonky server
