I started to use My Passport (4TB) for the first time with my Mac. It asked if I wanted to use it for Time Machine. I said yes and it said it needed to erase the files. I said okay and it erased the files and then said I didn’t have enough space. Now it won’t recognize the drive. I’m trying to figure out what files I need to download to have the right files on the drive again. Help please???

I would suggest to reformat drive in Mac OS extended journaled file format and then try to use My Passport drive with Time Machine. Note: It’s a data destructive process and can’t be restore data after format.
