Does WDTV play 4K footage?

Trying to play 4K footage that I shot and it doesn’t work from an .mov file or .mp4 file. Any ideas?

4K NOT Supported … Maximum Supported Resolution is 1920x1080

Any ideas?

1. Always read the User Manual 1st … Page 220 (or see screenshot below)
2. Buy a 4K Media Player
3. Don’t Shoot in 4K … shoot in 1080p
4. Convert 4K to 1080p for the WDTV
