Device Offline

Hi all,

I just got my WD Cloud storage… all works fine at home…

I have the iphone app as well and when I am at home I can open the app and view all the shared files etc no problem.

The moment I leave my house and use either 3G or wifi from work and load the app I allways get the following message:

“Device Offline - This device is anaccessible; only local files are available”

I have checked all the normal setting from the cloud home page - remote access is on etc…

any ideas people to help out???

not sure about IOS but with android you can add a local device or a remote device in the app. try deleting the device and adding it back either remotely or by selecting the cloud option. Of course this assume you really have remote access correct.

try using a browser and going to http://wd2go.com and see if you can sign in and connect to a share. If so remote access looks ok, if not you have a generic remote access issue, not iphone
