i think it’s stupid that smartware can’t delete the files i have deleted from source. that means my backup storage increases too fast! manually delete them takes too much time!
should i delete all backup files and restart a backup?

Normally backup software does not delete any data, since it should store files for backup. If the backup software deletes files then, in my opinion ii would consider it a sync software. You can delete everything if you want, but make sure you have all the data on the computer so you do not miss anything afterwards.
