Between all the people playing around with Linux… Has anybody been able to create a custom volume in order to have encryption? I don’t feel too comfortable leaving all the documents laying there without security.

Thanks. I saw that post when I searched, but seemed stuck. So I tried to go with a custom volume instead of a virtual one.
Guess most people is not interested on that.
This is a shame drive encryption is not available on this hdd. I think drive encryption should be a standard security feature on all HDD devices, especially in this new digital era where data security is a big concern.
Mobile phones now seem to have drive encryption. It’s a shame hdd manufactures are not including drive encryption functionality out of the box.
