Cross compile toolchain

Guys,

My source code is based on minimum GCC 4.8 version. However the toolchain available with mycloud is based on GCC 4.6 version.

I am thinking to cross compile toolchain for 4.8 version. Did anybody compiled toolchain before for mycloud devices?

My NAS device is wdmycloudex2100 with arm processor.
