Corrosion in pcb of 1TB WD Blue Desktop Hard Drive

My hdd randomly stops working and windows got stuck. I suspect the corrosion is causing the problem. The hdd give me a really good service life(6 year) and now out of warranty. How to solve this? I’ve seen many users have also corrosion on their wd hdd’s.

The oxidisation in that area won’t affect the drive’s operation. Instead use a soft white pencil eraser to gently shine up the HDA pads on the component side of the PCB.
