Cloud access is disabled - Invalid parameter (400033)

Looking for some help…

I have a My Cloud 2 Tb device since 3 weeks.

I have very limited knowledge about networks or computers in general.

Since I bought the device I spent many (many) hours facing different affairs with this machine running last firmware .623.

This morning without a reason, I´ve found in the dashboard - settings - general, a message that says:

"Conection status disabled

Cloud access disabled"

Even when the “Remote access” switch is “on” in “auto” mode.

So I could not access anymore to my shares from outside the network.

I updated firmware to the last version .408 one hour ago, and things are the same.

I tried to disable the “Remote access” on the dashboard, but the machine gives me the message: 

“Invalid parameter. (400033)”

If somebody knows what to do to get things going right, I´ll be grateful.

As I am not an expert in this kind of things, and after trying everything (open ports, static ip, etc.),  I´ve done a soft factory restore “system only”, and I have:

“Port forwarding connection established” !!

The device is working well now and all the data is still there.

The machine did let me delete shares that I´ve created before and that i was not able to eliminate.

It seems the device needed some “cleaning” after all the wrong things I´m sure I´ve done since I bought it.

Now it seems running healthier. Hope keeps like that a long time.
