Cannot Access Device After Firware Update

I am unable to access the My Cloud device after the latest firware update.  I have repeatedly tried to reset with power on and power off according to owner’s manual.  LED remains violet, and I cannot access with dashboard.  This is extremely frustrating.  The device was working perfectly before,and no, I have had no third party modificaitons.  WD bascailly hosed up my device with this “Upgrade.”
