Can not upload to My Cloud

I can no longer upload to my remotely located My Cloud device.  I have installed the app and can connect with my drive but when I go to upload the first 512k goes fine (the flie folder) but then it just gets hung up.  This was not a problem when I could access my device through the website via WD2go.com.  Is this going to get fixed?  Obviously the device is useless to me if I can not manage my data from a remote location.

It is generally recommended around these parts if connected via the local network (i.e., not remotely) to bypass using the WD apps and software to transfer files and use either Windows Explorer on Window’s OS’s or the Finder on Macintosh OS’s to copy/transfer files to the WD My Cloud (or from the WD My Cloud to the computer).
